1. Open Rider, then Appearance. The same list is under Collectables, then Appearances.
2. In the Plaza, Welly keeps the skate shop. Press E. Guild bucks buy colors and gear there. A first visit can include one item on the house.
3. Clothes (shirts, pants, and shoes) are one shared loadout. Hair, skin, and gear are their own sets.
4. Gear is the deck, the wheels, and the bars. Snowboard and ski have no wheels. Bars are only on BMX and scooter.
5. Hair Style is Short, Medium, or Long. From 1.19 the skater also has Facial Hair (goatee, beard, or moustache, in your hair color) and Glasses (five frame colors). Other riders get them in a later update.
6. Some colors wait on a guild level. The demo does not sell colors.
