| Word | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Vert | The halfpipe itself, where every run starts |
| Coping | The metal edge at the top of the pipe. Grind it for the Coping Skills achievement |
| Lip | The top of the ramp where you leave the pipe and catch air |
| Air | Time spent above the lip. Tricks happen in the air |
| Combo | More than one trick in a single air |
| Streak | Tricks landed in a row without bailing |
| Air word | Letter tricks that spell a word in one air |
| Bail | A messy landing. It ends your streak, unless Cozy mode is on |
| Idle | A mode where your rider keeps going on their own |
| Cozy mode | No-pressure play: bails never cost your streak or combo |
| Crew | Twitch viewers riding alongside you in Crew Mode |
| Standstillville | The town right next to your halfpipe |
