About

  1. Desktop Halfpipe is a cozy skatepark that lives at the bottom of your screen. You ride the halfpipe while you work, and the town of Standstillville is right next door.

Your first session

  1. Pick a rider. You can switch between skateboard, BMX, inline, scooter, snowboard and skis any time.
  2. Catch some air and pull tricks with the number and letter keys. See all tricks.
  3. Turn on Idle from the tray menu if you want your rider to keep going while you work.
  4. Press F12 to take a photo of your park. See photo mode.

Make it yours

  1. Cozy mode in the tray menu means bails never cost your streak or combo. See cozy mode.
  2. Change the season, turn trees on, or switch to night with keyboard shortcuts.
  3. The park has weather: fog, rain, storms, wind, snow and fireflies.

It runs on your clock

  1. The game follows your PC's real date and time. Weekly events like Concert Night happen on their real weekday, holidays arrive on their real dates, and the tide comes in and out through the day. Check today's tide times.

Achievements

  1. There are 16 Steam achievements. See all achievements for how to get each one.

FAQ

  1. Does Desktop Halfpipe get in the way of my work? No. It sits at the bottom of your screen, and Ctrl+Shift+0 hides it instantly.
  2. Can I play with Twitch chat? Yes. See Twitch commands.
  3. Is there a demo? Yes. A free one-hour demo is on Steam.
