About

  1. 21+ only. Upcoming free DLC, not released yet. It stays hidden unless you turn on 21+ content, and it needs Halfpipe World, which is also not released yet.
  2. Zombie nights happen on Halfpipe World travel routes. Ride the route as usual; the dead come at you from both sides.

Turning it on

  1. Open the menu and tick 21+ content. The game asks you to confirm your age. It is off by default and stays off until you turn it on.
  2. Ride any World travel route. A Zombie Night card asks you to pick a mode, or Not tonight to ride the route as normal.
  3. With 21+ content off, routes are just routes and nothing about zombies shows.

How a run works

  1. Aim with the mouse, up or down, on either side of the rider. Click to shoot.
  2. Jump over walkers. Crawlers are low (aim down); crows and balloons are in the air (aim up).
  3. Tricks refill ammo. The rider keeps riding the whole time.
  4. A bite costs a heart. Lose them all and the run is over.
  5. Waves come one after another; a short route has 3 waves, a long one up to 9.

Modes

ModeWhat it is
WavesThe default. 3 to 9 waves by route length, each harder than the last. Pays the most.
EndlessWaves until you run out of hearts. Your best score and best wave are kept.
ArsenalKills drop scrap. Spend it on weapons and perks between runs. A boss abomination ends every third wave. See Zombies: weapons and perks.
ChillUnlimited ammo, no bites, no abominations. Half pay.

Gore setting

  1. Pick it on the Zombie Night card:
  2. Campy (default): dust puffs and lime goo, cartoon fun.
  3. Horror: darker, with cartoon splatter.
  4. Gritty: the strongest setting, with stains that linger.

The zombies

  1. Twelve kinds of zombie and seven abominations. Each one wants something different from you: see Zombies and abominations.

Rewards

  1. Bucks for a finished run, at most 40 a run and 120 a day across all modes.
  2. Six stickers: First Night, 100 kills, first abomination, Endless wave 10, first boss, and a no-bite clear.
  3. Arsenal scrap stays in Arsenal.

With friends

  1. Every player rolls their own zombies; nothing is shared. A friend without the DLC or without 21+ content on sees a normal route. There are no Twitch commands for zombie nights.
