About
- Grindiron District is the region; its capital is Anhedelphia. An overcast city with a run-down downtown: grey concrete, wet streets, distant towers, modern brutalist concrete and glass. It is known for the nine-to-five, with people stuck in routine. Part of Halfpipe World. Team: the Atavists (football).
Planned mechanics
- Football (live, 1.19). Talk to Stanley by the parking garage and pick *Play football* (Grey Street Field) vs the Grey Suits. Played right on the town street (no separate screen): one screen wide, a goal at each edge; townsfolk step back to the fence to watch and the town keeps going. Pick 1v1 or 2v2 from the host's talk panel; a small score chip shows score, clock and controls, Esc leaves. 1v1 or 2v2; AI kids fill every slot but yours. 2:00 clock, then the score stands (ties stay ties). Tap E to pass, hold E to shoot, E on defence to steal / tackle, Space to jump. Carry the ball over their line for a touchdown (7). E pitches to your teammate in 2v2 (a burst in 1v1), Space jukes, and tackles turn the ball over.
- Spot the city, bring back the color. Find famous downtown skate spots (a ledge, a gap, a stair set, a plaza) and land a line at each to fill your Spot Book. Photo mode can snap them. Every person you help adds color back: murals, potted trees, string lights. It unlocks concrete park pieces for the barn skatepark and mural decals for your pipe.
- Lost memos. Collect forgotten office memos that tell how the city lost its color. They are the region's lore set.
- Office job errands. Small errands for bucks.
