About
- Halfpipe World takes you out of Pipe Street on street-style routes to the hometowns of the sportsbook teams. Every town has its own look, people, things to collect and something to do. Sports are one thread of a town, not the point of it.
- Beta: you can visit Bleak Peak, El Alia, Goldenleaf, Anhedelphia and Olive Nook and talk to the people who live there. The other hometowns, the creatures and the duels are still Alpha (planned, not in the game yet). Halfpipe World becomes a regular release when its DLC ships.
Four regions
- Each capital is planned as its own free DLC, so you pick the places you want. Owning more than one links them together.
- Vert Ridge (capital Bleak Peak): a mountain town above a frozen harbor. Hockey.
- Shredhara Desert (capital El Alia): a desert oasis market town. Basketball.
- Olliewood (capital Goldenleaf): an autumn forest town where it is always fall. Soccer.
- Grindiron District (capital Anhedelphia): an overcast city that has lost its color. Football.
How it is planned to work

| Routes | Street-style riding with each region's obstacles and pickups. A route takes about three to five minutes with a rest stop halfway. After your first finish, an endless route opens |
| Towns | Every town is a plaza like Pipe Street. Help three locals, then recruit one |
| Residents | Humans live in the towns. The animals run the shops |
| Recruits | A recruit can move to Pipe Street or join your crew. Up to two crew members ride along |
| Creatures | Cozy folklore creatures from each region, never scary. Six per region, plus one daily legend |
| Encounters | A Calm-Down Duel to befriend a creature, and a daily Spirit Tag chase for the legend |
| Cards | Town vending machines sell booster packs of creatures you have met. Duplicates level your cards |
| Collections | Each region has its own set, a museum wing, cosmetics, followers, and new fish, shells and bugs |
| Travel | A bus to every town. A train between capitals |
| Idle | Your idle rider cruises the route and picks up common items. It never duels or recruits |

- Towns open in order with a gentle requirement, like your total skill ranks or crew size.
