Bodie

Who he is

1. Bodie is mayor of Standstillville, and an amateur barber. He wants the town better, without losing what makes it this town.
2. He can confuse good leadership with being in on every decision.
3. People tell him more in the barber chair than they do in a meeting.

Mayor's Desk

1. Talk to Bodie and press Mayor's Desk to open the desk with the village quests: equipment trials and the daily Halfpipe Herald story. He also handles the farmhouse mortgage at the Town Hall. Welly introduces you to him the morning after the lantern ceremony.

Friendship

1. Early. He will proudly explain a town improvement that took more process than it looked like it needed.

People he knows

1. Niva is his favorite person for turning an idea into a plan, and the person most likely to overcomplicate it with him. Pom keeps challenging the instinct to regulate first. Santiago sees him as the way a dream becomes a piece of town.

Where he stands

1. In the plaza in spring, summer, autumn, and winter, when it is clear, drizzle, rain, or snow, and it is day. At the Drive-In he stands off to the side.
