Who she is

1. Brigid is an Old Falls kid. She wants to feel a new possibility before it becomes ordinary.
2. She drops a thing as soon as it stops feeling new.
3. She changes one part of her setup almost every time she rides.
4. She works at Welly's shop alongside Ghost and loves listening to records — she skips every track before it finishes and calls it sampling. Ghost has not accepted this.

Friendship

1. Early. She cannot stop talking about her newest setup.

People she knows

1. Welly loves that she will try anything, until he sees he has been feeding the habit. Hiro wants her tests to change one thing at a time. Shiiro irritates her at first. Later she asks him why older equipment behaves the way it does. Ghost is her co-worker at the shop; she skips tracks, he is not okay with it.

Where she stands

1. In the plaza in spring, summer, and winter, when it is clear, rain, snow, or wind, and it is day. At the halfpipe she skates past.
